Tradesman, who is down to contest the Te Awamutu Cup next week, had his first trial over a mile and a quarter on the Waipa course two seasons ago. He ran a fair race on that occasion, but had had enough a furlong from home. Since then the son of Raceful has improved in stamina and has. been equal to winning over ten furlongs! With 7.11 in the big race at Te Awamutu next Saturday another good effort can be expected of Tradesman.
