PROGRAMMES APPROVED.
AUCKLAND DISTRICT COMMITTEE
The Auckland District Committee last night approved the programmes of'■the following clubs: —Thames Jockey Club, January 21 and 23; Matamata Racing Club, February 6; Rotorua Racing Club, February 13 and 15; Franklin Racing Club, March 6: Bay of Plenty Jockey Club, March 20 and 22. The Opotiki Jockey Club advised that its racecourse was being taken over as an aviation ground and sought permission to hold its next meeting at Tauranga. This was approved for 1037 only.
