MORTGAGE RELIEF.
COMMISSIONS APPOINTED. •* EIGHT IN NORTH ISLAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", Tuesday. The appointment of 14 adjustment commissions by the Governor-General under section 24 of the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act, 1936, is announced by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage. At any sitting of a commission two members will form a quorum. I. The commissions for the North Island are;— Auckland . District.—Mr. William Joshua Gatenby, Auckland (chairman), Mr. Maxwell Aldred, Waiuku, and Mr. John Sommerville Montgomerie, Auckland. • Auckland City.—Mr. Arthur Morice Goulding, Auckland (chairman), Messrs. Charles Frederick Bennett and William Wallace, Auckland. North Auckland.—Mr. William Robert Tuck, Auckland .(chairman), Mr. James Neil McCarroll, Whangarei, and * Mr. William Grounds, Holcianga. Gisborne.—Mr. Frederick Robert Ball, Gisborne (chairman), Mr. John Henry Reid, Opotiki, and Mr. Angus Alexander Fraser, Te Karaka. Hawke's Bay.—Mr. Martin Greenwood, Hastings (chairman), Mr. Montgomery Owen Grainger, Maliaraliara, and Mr. Ronald Hugh White, Otane. Taranaki. —Mr. Edgar Herries Young, Stratford (chairman), Mr. Charles Dunsbee Dickie, Hawera, and Mr. Francis Romayne, Ohura.
