Lord Nuffield's Gift to His
Employees.
WORKERS SHARING PROFITS. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 30. Britain's pliilantliropical motor magnate, Lord Nuffield, announces that he i$ giving £2,125,000 to create a fuiid under which Morris motor employees, in addition to receiving holidays with pay, will share benefits in the firm. The sum is represented by 1,000,000 ordinary shares in Morris Motors, dividends from which will produce the fund.
Lord Nuffield says this will be his last gift for some considerable time as, in addition to recent donations, his outstanding promises have never been larger.
