MOTHERS' UNION.
MAORI DELEGATES' VISIT.
A number of delegates, estimated at about 150, • are soon to visit Auckland for the annual reunion of the, Mothers' Union of the Auckland diocesan district. A conference of the Maori Mothers' Union has been arranged in conjunction with this, to be held from November 2S to November 26. Most of the deleprates are to stay at the Waipapa Maori Hostel, Parnell. They will attend the annual reunion service at St. Mary's Cathedral, and also various meetings convened in St. Mary's Parish Hall. The conference is one of considerable importance, and many matters affecting Maori well-being will be discussed. Arrangements for the convention are in the hands of a capable executive, under the superintendentship of Mrs. E. G. Coats, of Mount Albert.
