SILVER WEDDING.
MR. AND MRS. GRAHAM REID,
Mr. and Mrs. Graham Reid, of Chamberlain Avenue, Mount Eden, celebrated their silver wedding on Saturday. The reception was held in the Penwomen's Club rooms, which were beautifully decorated in silver and pale pink. The tables were beautifully arranged with silver baskets of white bride and pale pink lilies. Mr. and Mrs. Reid received the guests under a large silver wedding bell, Mrs. Reid wearing a silver grey frock and carrying a pale pink bouquet.
A unique feature was the christening of their little granddaughter in the afternoon at St. Mary's Cathedral by Canon Fancourt. The beautiful silver wedding and christening cake was greatly admired by the guests, among whom were Mesdames. F. Stevens, J. McKenzie, W. Paterson, W. Mcßride, S. Barry, P. Heath-Preest, C. Green, E. Bird, T. Hill, S. Charles, A. Downie and K. Munn.
