CABINET SALARIES.
RISES IN BRITAIN PROBABLE.: ' i LONDON, November 12. During the House of Commons debate on the Address-in-Reply, satisfaction was expressed over the decision to increase the Prime Minister's lalary and equally those of other Cabinet Ministers. It is likely that the Prime Minister will receive £8000 a year, and that the salaries of other Ministers will be made uniform at £5000 a year. j This will mean that Mr. Baldwin will receive an increase of while the j Lord Chancellor (Viscount' Hailshatn) will suffer a reduction of £5000. His present salary of £10,000, is V" highest of any Minister. | The change will also give increases ' of £3000 to seven Ministers, and £1000 ' to two others.
