BRITISH ORCHESTRA.
HITLER AT BERLIN CONCERT. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, November 16. The first concert of the German tour of Sir Thomas Beecham and the London Philharmonic Orchestra in Berlin on Friday night, coincided with the close of a short but successful visit to London of the Dresden State Opera Orchestra, which has provided one of the most interesting features of the present season.
At Friday night's Berlin concert, Herr Hitler "and other members of the Government were among the distinguished audience. During the interval the British Ambassador, Sir Eric Phipps, and Lady Phipps visited Herr Hitler's box. The British orchestra will also play in Dresden, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart, Ludwigshafen, Frankfort and Cologne.
