BUSY IN OCTOBER. (Received 10 a.m.) OTTAWA, November 16. Exports of Canadian products in October were valued at 111,000,000 dollars, exceeding every month since November, 1920. Imports were 65,000,000 dollars. MINING PROSPEROUS. (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 16. The New York "Times' " Toronto correspondent says that the exceptional prosperity of the mining industry has enhanced materially the economic status of the Dominion. Gold is particularly noteworthy. The output for 1936 is estimated at 24,000,000 dollars.
