SILVER WEDDING.
MR. AND MRS. C. SANDIN.
To celebrate the silver anniversary of their wedding Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sandin, of Helensville, entertained over 50 guests at their residence on Saturday evening. The drawing and dining rooms were thrown open and were decorated with loses, gerbera and many bowls of spring flowers. A jolly time was spent in competitions and singing. A sumptuous supper was served and a large wedding cake with the> usual wedding favours adorned the centre of the table. The two bridesmaids who attended the bride at her wedding were present. Mrs. Sandin received her guests wearing a white satin ankle-length frock trimmed with silver heads. The usual toasts were proposed and responded to. Mr. and Mrs. Sandin were the recipients of many silver gifts.
