WOOL MISSES FIRST SALE.
DUE ,Tp WET WEATHER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Monday. There is some concern among sheep farmers in Mangonui County at the late shearing owing to uncertain tveatlier. A few bales of wool have oassed through Kaitaia to the port of iwanui, but few growers have commenced shearing yet, and their wool :annot now reach the markets in time 'or the first sale. The chief cause of worry, however, s the bidi-bidi, which increases in its larmful effect ias the season advances.
