MR. J.T. BENNETT.
4n old employee of the Northern Roller Milling Company, Mr James Turncock Bennett, d.ed at his hcwic in Douglas Street, Ponsonby, at the ige of 70 years. He was born at Mcunt Morgan, Queensland, and entered the ■ employ of the Northern Roller M-lling Company in 1004. At one time Mr. Bennett was a member of the Ponsonbv schools' committee, and served on the original comm'.t f ce of the Pqnsonby Boys' Band. He was a member of the Ponsonby Lodge No. 70S S.C.. and was also a Good Templar and an Oddfellow. e
