WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Ivawhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate south-westerly winds. Weather for tlie most part fine, but some isolated rains in places with a westerly aspect. Temperatures milder. Seas moderate to rather rough. Art anticyclone is advancing across the North Tasman Sea, but pressure is falling again over the South Tasman Sea and Southern New Zealand. For the Dominion. The indications are for light to moderate south-westerlies. Mainly there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, but a fe wisolated showers. Barometer little movement. Seas smooth to moderate. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, fine, with passing clouds; visibility, fair; barometer, rising.
