DAVIS BEATEN BY McCREADY. In a professional wrestling match at Thames last night McCready (16.13) beat Davis (18.(i) by two falls to one. In the third round Davis threw McCready hard for a fall. McCready evened in the seventh round with ail octopus hold and took the winning fall in the eighth with a body press. Mr. .T. McLean, of Auckland, was the referee.
