S .Donald, the well-known trot- j ting trainer, in the Waimakariri Hood. Of a herd of 57 cows and calves grazing on the river bank only 15 have been found. Five horses, including three 1 yearlings by the stallion Jack Potts, and two brood mares, are also missing. Mr. Donald's loss is estimated at £500.
