LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

MOUNT ALBERT CLUB TROPHIES. The ailnual trophy presentation evening of the Mount Albert Club was held in the Manchester Unity Hall, with an attendance of 180 members and friends. The Mayor of the suburb, Mr. H. A. Anderson presided, aud was accompanied by Mrs. -Anderson. Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of the Auckland Rugby League, congratulated the club on winning the 6enior reserve grade championship—the first senior trophy won— and also upon gaining the second grade knockout honours, which successes indicated that the club had good talent for the future. The president's trophy for official service to the club was won by Mr. H. G. Shaw, secretary. The special trophy of Mr. Richards for the best club player giving attention' to training and other points, and open, to all . grades, went to L. Slattery, second grade. Other trophies were: Most improved senior player during the season, J. Schultz; reserve grade, E. Dunn; best all-rounder in second grade, J. Patterson; best club senior schoolboy player, W. Greenhough; and best intermediate schoolboy, I. Sumich.

AFFAIRS OF REFEREES. At the meeting of the Auckland Rugby League Referees' Association, hold last, evening, Mr. L. E. Bull presiding, a letter was received from the junior management of the Auckland League reciprocating the thanks for co-operation during tho season between the two bodies.
