The two-year-old Sigurd, who was sent tcr Sydney to race in the Breeders' Plate and Randwick, but was unable to run on account of catching a cold, returned. The Washdyke trainer E. J. Ellis was also on board with Kinnoull, Rebel Lad and Black Coat. Silver Coat was sold. The Australian jockey A.
