VICE-VERSA DANCE.
TAKAPUNA CITIZENS' BAND. The band hall, Taharoto Road, Takapnna, was the scene last week of an enjoyable old-time dance in the form of a vice-versa dance evening', when the patrons dressed up in the clothes of the opposite sex. By popular vote Miss J. Good won the first prize as the best "gentleman," with Mrs. Findlay and Miss V. Benison second and third respectively. Perfect dance music was rendered by the band's own orchestra, The duties of master of ceremonies were capably carried out by Bandsmen L. J. Henderson and K. Witherspoon. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr. K. Nicholson and Miss J. Good. A dainty supper was dispensed by the ladies' social committee to all present.
