MISSION WORK.
POSITION IN AUSTRALIA. REV. A. EVERILL ORR RETURNS. ; The Rev. A. Everill Orr, of the Central Methodist Mission, returned to Auckland this afternoon by the Wanganella after a visit to Australia which extended over two months. Mr. Orr visited Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle and preached at a number of the Australian missions, where the attendances were as high as 1200. He made investigations in connection with the running of the missions in Australia and gained a great, deal of information which will be useful in New Zealand. Mr. Orr said that the mission services were very popular m Australia and the broadcasting of them was a, feature. In that way all parts of Australia were reached. >
