RIFLE SHOOTING,
AKARANA CLUB. The Akarana Hifle Shooting Club opened Us 1030-37 season at Penrose ranpre, ivitn a double range shoot over the distances of f>oo yards and 600 yards. The wind was stoddv, but n rapidly changing light caught many' of the riflemen napping. The highest score off the rifle was made by W. Colquhonn with 40. 46, total 00. E. J. PAPAKURA CLUB,
The official opening of the Papakura Defence Ritle Club at the Opalieke range was attended by between 30 and 40 members and visitors. The president, Mr. 1.
