LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
NO. 3, REMUERA. At the usual monthly meeting held recently Mrs. Wright presided over a good attendance of members. Mrs. Dowsett, ex-president of the Wanganui branch, was welcomed as a new member and spoke on matters of vital interest to members of the league. Mrs. Simpson contributed vocal solos. MOUNT ROSKILL. The monthly meeting of the Mount Roskill branch of the League of Mothers took place last week, Mrs. Giles presiding. The speaker was Mrs. G. Dyson, whose subject was "Endowment of Motherhood." The thought for the month was given by Mrs. R. Sheppard and afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs. H. Taylor, Mrs. Peacock and Mrs. Ivelsey.
