BOTH KNOCKED OUT. i BLOMFIELD AND DAVIS. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, this day. After heavy jolting, both Blomtield and Davis connected with hits to the jaw soon after the sixth round pommenced in their wrestling match here on Saturday evening. Each was knocked out and both lay on the mat dazed and took the count, a vigorous contest ending in a i/jw. It was some time before they came to. Prior to the double knock-out each had secured a fall —Davis in the second with jolts and a body press, Blomtield in the fifth after dazing Davis with three vigorous flying tackles. McCREADY BEATS PENCHEFF. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUPH, Sunday. In a strenuous wrestling contest last evening McCready defeated Penciled by one fall, obtained in the seventh round with a body press, following a dump. A capacity house was well satisfied with the bout, which was largely devoid of showmanship. KRUSE BEATEN BY SAVOLDI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. In a professional contest at the Town Hall last night Joe Savoldi, 1.5.4, beat Kruse, 15.0, by two falls to one. The bout was marked by solid wrestling, Kruse doing most of the work, but Savoldi appeared to have the measure of his opponent. The Italian gained falls in the third round with a .body press, following dropkicks, and in the sixth, when he rolled over on Kruse after the American had dumped him. Kruse gained a submission fall in the fifth round with a wristlock.
