MOTOR CYCLE NOTES.
IXION TRIAL. CUP PRESENTED. Owing to the Ixion trial conducted by the Auckland Motor Cycle Club having to be abandoned, the executive has decided to rerun this trial next Sunday, riders leaving the clubrooms at 10.30 a.m. This will be in the nature of a followtrial in which any machine can enter. So far seven entries have been received for the John Bull trial, which takes place on November 7 and 8. Entries definitely close on October 28, and intending riders are advised to get their nominations in early so that the necessary arrangements can be made for meals and accommodation. Mr. J. Stewart has presented the club with a handsome trophy in the form of :<n Isle of Man replica to be competed for annually in the New Zealand Tourist Trophy race at Waiheke. It will be 011 show at the next monthly meeting.
