PHILISTINES' CLUB.
At the reyel held by members of the Philistines' Club in the Amateur Operatic Hall on Saturday night the chairman was-Mr. R. A. Singer, and an excellent programme was presented. It included an instrumental trio by Mrs. Maud Lvsaght, Miss Daphne Higham and Miss Betty Fenton; songs by Mrs. Eva Simson and Mr. Arthur Ripley; magic by Mr. R. H. P. Grace; a sketch by Mrs. Jock Allen; humour by Mr. Alan McElwain and impersonations by Mr. Wyvern de Clive Lowe. The accompanist was Mr. Eric Maxwell.
