CHRISTIAN SCIENCE.
LECTURES IN NEW ZEALAND. Lectures on Christian Science are to be given in the Tivoli Theatre, Karangahape Roa'd, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 18, and the following evening, byMr. Paul Stark Seeley, a member of the board of lectureship of the Mother Church in Boston. Mr. Seeley is now completing an extensive lecturing tour in Australia, and he will arrive in Auckland by the Mariposa next Saturday week, afterwards visiting other parts of New Zealand. Mr. Seeley took up the study of Christian Science when a student at Harvard University, where he graduated in law. He was later associated with a group of engineers in the development of power and irrigation projects on the Pacific Coast of America, and while living in Portland, Oregon, was first' reader of First Church in that city. He was also identified with the work of the committee on publication, and in 1916 was appointed to the board of lectureship. In the past 20 years he has lectured in many countries throughout the world. Because of his early interest in the study of law Mr. Seeley has sought to work out the deeper spiritual meaning ot law, and the subject of his first lecture in Auckland will be "Christian Science: The Law of God."
