LONDON, October 2. Gold is quoted at £7 1/ per ounce. The American dollar is quoted at 4.93 to the pound sterling. French franc 105%. This is the first, quotation of the franc since devaluation. On September 25 it was quoted at 76 27-32. The following is a summary of the fluctuation in the price per ounce of fine gold this year:— £ s. d.
