GIFT AFTERNOON.
Sponsored by the All Saints' Ladies' Guild a gift afternoon in connection with the annual rose show in November was held in the All Saints' Hall on Thursday afternoon. A .musical and elocutionary.; programme contributed to by Mrs. R. Reid, Miss Gwenda Weir, Mr. S. Knight and Rev. W. Averill and community singing by-those .present was much enjoyed.' Following, afternoon tea a short play] entitled "Seeing the World," was enacted by several schoolgirls—Maud Walker, Marjorie Doherty, Dorothy Walker, Joy Masefield and Margaret .Chatteris.
