COMMUNITY SUNSHINE.
NORTH SHORE. The October meeting was held in the Methodist Hall, Takapuna, Mrs. A. Blomfield presiding over a good, attendance of members. Arrangements were finalised for the social card evening to Be held at the residence of Mrs. G. Winstone. Two further contributions were received from Mrs. Coultas and Mrs. Alhvood towards Mrs. Keesing's card evening. Mrs. Hobbs and other members had sent in parcels towards the jumble sale which is to be held later for the purpose of raising funds for this branch's activities in assisting with the health camps and other work of the association. Mrs. Blomfield asked members ,to obtain names of children who, 011 account of delicate health, will- be examined for admission to the health camp. The president read letters of appreciation from the parent body for the making of the many forget-me-nots for the decoration of the entrance hall and supper room in connection with the sunshine ball. The meeting closed with afternoon tea, served by the members of the committee.
