ONEHUNGA MAORIS
LABOUR COMMITTEE FORMED.
The formation of an Onehunga Maori i Labour committee was decided upon at a meeting of about 100 Maoris and their I wives held yesterday at the home of Mr. T. Pai. Onehunga. Mr. Kio Tara-' whiti, of Hnntly, organiser of the Tai I Hauaiiru Maori Labour party, was | present. I The following officers were elected: —' t President, Mr. Pai; vice-president, Mr. B. W. Matthews; secretary, Mr. Tuatini; treasurer, Mr. Pai; committee, Messrs. Pai, Matthews, J. Pai, W. Pai, Taura. Tnpu, Kirkwood, Pittman and S. Watene.
