VILLAGE FRACAS.
THREE PEASANTS KILLED. BUCHAREST, September 27 Three peasants were killed and 60 injured and many gendarmes were wounded in the village of Illenupza in the Baltzi district of Rumania as a result of religious disturbances. The trouble arose when the police tried to arrest a monk named Climovici, who advocated reintroduction of the Gregorian instead of the Julian calendar, which was adopted by Rumania in 1924.
