TWO CHANGES ANNOUNCES (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. Mr. 11. C. Lusty, A.M.1.C.E., has been appointed Assistant-Chief Engineer o; the New Zealand Railways. He is at present the inspecting engineer at the head office. Mr. A. H. Murison, A.M.1.C.E., of the Chief Engineer's office, becomes inspecting engineer. The Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, states that prior to 1!'31 there was an assistant-chief engineer and inspecting engineer attached to the Chief Engineer's staff, but in that year, as an economy measure, the position o. assistant-chief was not filled. Now. however, owing to the increase in the work in the Chief Engineer's branch, the appointment was necessary.
