A MISUNDERSTANDING
NEW PRICES FOR BREAD. POSITION EXPLAINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Some misunderstanding appears to have been created with, regard to the recent announcement in connection with th,e "fixing of prices of bread. The Board of Trade Regulations stipulate that the new price shall be lid per 41b loaf, and 5-ld per 21b loa! when sold retail for cash over the counter, and also when sold by way of sale by retail for cash at the-'bakehouse.
Retail prices at the bakehouse are not a penny less; as seems to have been the previous impression.
