GOVERNMENT TAXATION
GRAND NATIONAL MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. thus day. Excluding the amusement tax the Government will receive the sum of £13.650 from the Canterbury Jockey Club as taxation on the Grand National meeting. The details are: Totalizator tax, £7256; dividend tax, £6345; stakes tax, £75.
