FAREWELL.

DINNER AT COLLEGE.

FATHER TERRY'S DEPARTURE. STUDENTS FOR ENGLAND. The committee of the Sacred Heart College Old •Boys' Association gave a dinner at the college last evening, when the guests of honour were Father F. K. Terry, Diocesan inspector of Roman Catholic schools and colleges in Auckland, who is leaving this evening to vifjit educational centres in the United States and the British Isles, Mr. D. Davin, M.A., selected last year •as Rhodes Scholar, Mr. Michael Joseph, M.A., who is to complete his studies at Oxford, and Mr. F. Petricevicli, who is going to London to complete his medical degree. Others present included Bishop Liston, Mr. Davin, sen., and Mr. Forsyth, sen.

The president of the Old Boys' Association, Mr. G. It was hoped that when he had completed his course abroad he would return to New Zealand to benefit his country. On behalf of the Old Boys' Association the president wished the guests of honour bon voyage, and sard that all would look forward to their -successes in the future.. Each. of the guests of honour received a set of gold "cuff links carrying the college badge. The toast was endorsed by Bishop Liston, the Rev.
