I >ou ife to send out, before the campaign closes, at least another hundred single-bed quilts, and tfh how badly we do need hot Water bottles. v At present We have none at all at Sunshine House, and I have just longed to slip one into every parcel ve have sent out m the past week. In particular I have several little children in mind—" Bonnie," who is seven and a Wee delicate slip of a child; and John, who is a patient little invalid; and Russell, too, and Mavis. All these tittle folk live m homes where cold and hunger, alas, go hand in hand. Then, 100, I know of a dear Utile o ayow om 1 have been able to send one or two comforts —a warm shawl and a pair of bed socks —and to whom a hot bottle Would bring much comfort and joy. / U1 ' S mU t0 0 an ** so muc h happiness Wailing to be given at a cost of a little lime and roti e. ometimes lam amazed at the joy a threepenny toy gives—just a threepenny toy which means so to us and yet gives such happiness to a baby heart.
