Diamonds worth several thousands of pounds were found by Customs officials « hen thev searched a passenger arriving in Alexandria. They were hidden inside the handle of a safety razor. The smuggler had also given a number of precious stones to~ two people who had come to meet him. Tliey were arrested before leaving the Customs zone.
