PRESENTATIONS
Mr. G. T. S. Bay]is', M.Sc., holder of atetlie New Zealand University Post Graduate Science Scholarship, who is leaving for England by the Makura from Wellington next Tuesday, via Sydney, was fai'ewelled 011 Thursday afternpon at a gathering of friends at the' Auckland University College. Mr. T.'L. Lancaster, who presided, presented Mr. Bavlis with a silver watch suitably engraved, 011 behalf of the staff and students of the university, and wished him a pleasant voyage and all success in his research work at the University of London. Mr. Baylis, who •was a former pupil of the Takapuha Grammar School, suitably acknowledged the gift. ,
