SCHOOL INTERESTS.
CONFERENCE IN DUNEDIN. Messrs. W. H. Fortune and C. S. Morris, of Auckland, will leave to-morrow evening to attend the Dominion conference of school committees' associations, which will be opened at Dunedin on October 18. The-conference, which will extend over several days,' will be attended by delegates from all parts of the Dominion, and those present will be given a civic reception by the Mayor of Dunedin, the Rev. E. T. Cox.
