The banking [ section was lifeless. New Zealands were ,j quoted between £1 19/5 and £1 19/10. y National Insurance seemed easier, with buyers down to 18/, sellers 18/3. Recent firmness in Kaipoi Woollous was 0 maintained, with business in 17/ pnids at 0 15/6, but there were further sellers at that price, buyers 15/3. 0 Westport Coals had a strong market. 9 Buyers offered £1 3/, sellers 1/ higher. u Coles provided the bright spot in the miscellaneous section, recording a rise of 3d to sales and buyers £4 2/3, later g holders £4 2/9. Tobaccos were a little firmer.
