SAVE BIG WATER BILL.

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway, which pays a Water rate of £300,000 a year, expects to save 3,675,000 gallons of writer a day as the result of a device which is now being fitted •to the scoops of long-distance express locomotives which take up water from troughs while travelling at full speed.
