EFFECT UPON CHILDREN. | PARENTS* RESPONSIBILITY. | Arising out of correspondence between j the Auckland Farmers' Union and the | Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. j W. E. Parry, on the subject of censor- j *liip of films, the Minister has replied j that sufficient protection is afforded by the inclusion in the advertisements of the words "suitable for adults only." and that it is a matter of parental responsibility to ensure that children do not see films calculated to be morally injurious. i The Minister's letter was considered! a£ a meeting of the Kaipara sub-pro- ] vincial executive of the Farmers' Union j at Kaukapakapa this '.veeJc. when the \ following resolution was jairied unani- . inouslv: —"That the Cinematograph Films Act.
