[i J- liis morning's Exchange call recorded a greater measure of. activity. Values of leading industrials moved up from the easier levels reached earlier this week.' Australians'were more in evidence. Coles, in particular, leapt ahead to buyers at £4 1/3, sellers £4 2/9, and Government 1940 stock gained 2/0. * The banking section recorded a fe\v> sales, though at easy rates. Nationals of Australasia (£5) were -2/ lower. New Zealands remained at the £2 mark, withmore on offer at that figure, buyers 3d away. Most business was among miscellaneous issues. Australian Glass recovered from £4 10/ to £4 11/3, the market closing 3d either side. Zincs seemed little' better. Kauri Timbers continued improvement without sales, the market finishing between £14/9 and £14/11. In mining, Mount L.vells provided a sensation with dealings 4d higher, at £1 7/0, the final quotations Id either side. Morgans were better, with buyers 14/1, sellers 14/5.
