Team selected to represent Auckland Central (joint holder with Auckland East of the Roller Mills Shield) in the Paeroa section of the Primary Schools' Provincial Rugby tournament, to be held in the-first week of the August holidays:— Cowley, Hetherington, Jamieson, McQuillan (Kowhai), Butler (Newton Wast), Miller, Eadd.v, Shaw (Maungawhau), Brinsden. NORTHLAND TRIALS. The flrst of the trial games prior to the selection of the North Auckland. Rugby Union team to tour the South Island was held at Kaeo on Wednesday, when a combined Mangonui-Whangaroa team defeated a combined Bay of Islands and North and South Hokianga team by 0 points to 3. Team to play at AVhangarel on August 15 against a team from the four southern unions of Whangarei, Northern Walroa, Otaniatea and Rodney:—Full-back, Skelton (Bay), three-quarters, McKeown (Whangaroa), McFarland (Hokianga), S.
