NORTHLAND TRIALS. The flrst of the trial games prior to the selection of the North Auckland. Rugby Union team to tour the South Island was held at Kaeo on Wednesday, when a combined Mangonui-Whangaroa team defeated a combined Bay of Islands and North and South Hokianga team by 0 points to 3.
