BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
NATIONAL RESERVE NURSING,
The ward room of the National Reserve Nursing Division (St. John Ambulance) was the scene of a very ; well attended and successful bridge afternoon. The ward room was made gay With bowls of Iceland poppies. On arrival the guests were received by the organiser, Lady Divisional Superintendent M. H. Webber. Among the players were: —Mesdames' Webber, Adams, C. Reid, D'Este, Pezaro, Israel, Kay, Ward, Smith, Postle, Coutts, Coltman, Hilton, Torrance. J. Till, C. Blakey, Messenger. F. Kendall, G. Eady, W- Aldrid, Hamblln, Seaman, G. Coats, Armitage, Marqnet, Lorimer, Jeffreys, Collins, MacFarlane, Clarke, Buchanan, Shippard, Peacock, Stnbbs, Rawnsley, Kinnear, McDongall, Lowe, Geo. Mills, Mclnnes. F. Cox. R. Grahame, Isemonger. Ellern, Logie, Grubb, T. Boddam (London), Hooper, Edwards, Halls, Baker.
