BETTER LADDER EQUIPMENT. British Official Wireless.. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 5. The London Fire Brigade, now in process of re-equipping every department with the most up-to-date firefighting appliances, has arranged for delivery shortly of three turn-table ladders, each with a 500-gallon motor pump. A crew of five is required. Each unit can be made ready for action in half a minute.
