SHIPPING INCREASES.
BRITISH PORT RETURNS. British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 5. The net tonnage of vessels arriving at British ports during June with cargo was 11.2 per cent greater than a year ago. The daily movement was the highest recorded since April, 1923. The net tonnage of vessels departing last month with cargo loaded at British ports was slightly less than in June, 103i>.
