WOUNDED IN CELL.
LIFE PRISONER'S PLIGHT.
BRISBANE, August 5,
Herbert Colbert, alias Kopit, aged 23, who is serving a sentence of life imprisonment for thff murder of Mr. Harold Speering on the Bundaberg mail train on April 2, was found lying in his cell this morning suffering from wounds in his left arm and neck. Apparently they had been inflicted with a broken piece of razor blade.
The wounds are not expected to prove dangerous
