TAKAPUNA EX-SOLDIERS.
Strong exception to a newspaper repott which indicated that the Takapuna ExServicemen's Club had gone out of existence and that its members had joined another club, was voiced at the monthly general meeting of the club last night. There was a good attendance of members and eight new members were proposed. It was reported that, as the Takapuna Ex-Servicemen's Club was still flourishing and its membership increasing, there was nothing to give occasion for fear that the organisation would be disbanded. A programme of social gatherings for the collection of funds was agreed upon.
