UNIONS ON BUDGET.
Mr. W. Miller, president of the Trades and Labour Council, said that while he would have liked the Budget proposals to have gone further, speaking generally he thought it would meet with the approval of all connected with trades unions. Personally he thought the Government might have been even more generous to pensioners.
