INQUEST CONCLUDED.
MARRIED WOMAN'S DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. The inquest was concluded to-day concerning -the death of Mrs. Martha Allitt, aped 51. of Lower Hutt. The coroner. Sir. H. Morgan, returned a verdict that Mrs. Allitt died 011 June 27 from injuries received when a service car owned by Gibbs Motors, Ltd., in which she was a passenger, while being driven by Keith Ronald Goodman on the Coast Road between West port and Greymouth, left the road during a heavy driving downpour of rain, which interfered with the driver's visibility. The car left the road, at a point about 1"> miles from Greymouth. added t'K coroner, and overturned down a bank. The cause of death was a fractured skull and laceration of the brain.
